Anandan Sivakumar is a versatile indigenous joyful artist who loves to capture expressions through colorful portrait paintings.
Anandan Sivakumar was inspired by his elder brother’s artistical skills at the age of 13 and started scribbling there on with pencils and water colour. Based on the interest showed by him, his grandfather had taken him to learn more from great artist Anbazhagan (Anbu Arts), Krishnagiri. He was developing and enhancing his skills on various medium and became best disciple to his Guru.
Anandan Sivakumar became popular in artist community through his paintings and done many eye-catching works in sign boards, portraits, banners, backdrop and cut outs in the town. At the same time, he was perusing undergraduate in Bachelor of Science and then finished engineering.
He was known for his excellent artistic skills during college days and recognized by great Tamil film director for the backdrop painting work in cultural day. Though he became full time automobile engineer, he was pursuing his passion in paintings parallelly. The Chennai-based artist works in pencil, watercolor, acrylic , enamel and oil-medium for customerpreference to capture the expressions. Several original works of the artist are in possession of private collectors from various parts of the world.
Apart from art, Anandan Sivakumar is fitness enthustiastic and holding Asia/India book of records for 1300 consecutive run and Raj TV award for 1808 consecutive run and still counting.
